The Fresh from the Farm Guide

The Community Farm Land Trust (CFLT) publishes the Fresh from the Farm Guide every year as part of our mission to support local food and agriculture. This is a free, educational resources for underserved populations and residents from our entire region to learn where to find local, affordable, fresh and healthy foods through CSAs, farm stands, markets, food banks, as well as nutritional incentive and matching programs available in our four county region of Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, and Thurston Counties. We are able to keep this as a free resource to our community through grants, sponsorships, advertisements, and fundraising campaigns that help to pay for distribution and printing costs.

Well we hate to admit but we are human and we found a mistake in our farm guide. We check, recheck, double check, check some more, and still sometimes things slip through the cracks. We do our best with a staff of three and we are not perfect. Unfortunately, this error affected both of our maps in the printed guides this year. Farm Numbers 58-122 on our Farm Stand and Market Map (pgs. 20-21) and our Regional Maps (pgs. 34-35) are one number off. Meaning that all numbers in this range (58-122) should be increased by 1. Therefore, 58=59, 59=60, and so on down the line up until 122=123. We apologize for the mix up and will be more diligent with our maps in the future. This is the first time we had anything happen like this so we hope you will forgive our mistake. For corrected versions of these maps, please use our google maps. Our full online Simplebooklet above has been updated with the correct numbers as well. We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this may cause our farmers and community! When in doubt, look up the farm listing and google the address you find in the guide. Thanks for understanding! Onward and Upward!

PURPLE MARKETS: Farmers Markets

Our guide helps to highlight the importance of farming and agriculture in our local economy.

Did you know that Agricultural and Food Processing provides over 164,000 jobs in Washington State? (WSDA-Agricultural Economy Guide).
  • By listing your farm in our guide you can help us show the magnitude of farms, food processing and agricultural-related businesses in our area and how it impacts our local economies.
  • By increasing awareness of the importance of local agri-business, we can leverage tax dollars and support from local leaders for more assistance and aide to local farms which is the heart of CFLT's work to support the preservation of a vibrant local farm economy.
