Artist Biography-Patricia KeithPatricia Keith is now a Pacific Northwest resident, living in Olympia. Originally from Spokane, she spent thirty years elsewhere. She is a former U.S. Naval Officer and also worked in Washington D.C. until she retired. She had never painted until she moved to Olympia, when during the rainiest Winter on record, she took a “Watercolor 101 Painting class at a local high school. “I just wanted to get out of the house”, she recalls. The rest is history. She is a member of the Olympia Art League, and continues to paint for pleasure.

Each year, roughly 600,000 Americans die of cancer. An estimated 6 million dogs and 6 million cats will be diagnosed with cancer this year! Paws 4 A Cause helps to raise money for The Animal Cancer Foundation and the American Cancer Society, two organizations that are dedicated to finding a cure and supporting those impacted by cancer. You and your pet/s can help raise money by signing up to participate in the 3rd Annual Paws for a Cause Walk on May 4th, 2024 around Capitol Lake. The auction and raffle will follow the walk and begin around 2pm. |
